**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

As a member of our Contract Administration team, under the direction of our Senior Inspectors, you will be responsible for field assignments for various construction site projects at different field locations. Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

- Inspecting construction of various projects to ensure compliance with contract documents;
- Interpreting requirements and details of contract drawings and specifications;
- Verifying quantities, prepare progress reports and maintain documentation/diary;
- Identifying and act on contractual and regulatory infractions;
- Liaising with contractors and other stakeholders; and
- Other duties as may be assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Completion of post-secondary education in related field Civil Engineering/ Engineering Technology/Construction Management / Technology, or a construction-related discipline;
- OACETT designation as a rcji or PEO designation as an EIT is preferred, or qualified to obtain this designation;
- Some relevant work experience would be considered an asset bur not mandatory;
- Excellent communication, problem solving and attention to detail skills;
- Demonstrated willingness to learn;
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment;
- Possess a valid driver's license and have access to a vehicle with valid registration and insurance;
- Ability to work flexible schedules and travel to site locations within the area;
- Preference will be given to recent graduates from Civil Engineering or Technology programs who currently have rcji designation;

**Eligibility to Work in Canada -** It is important that you are legally eligible to work in Canada at the time an offer of employment is made. You may be requested to provide proof of eligibility at that time.
