- 4K Engineers Ltd. is a PEO licenced Consulting Engineering firm and we are offering Project Management, Contract Administration, Site Inspection, and Material Testing Services to our clients. We are currently seeking Road Construction Senior Inspector (RCSI / EIT or P.Eng.) to work with our Project Team on large scale Ontario Ministry of Transportation (MTO) Infrastructure projects such as highways and bridges._
- **Position: Office Person/Junior Inspector (RCJI or EIT / P.Eng.)**_
- **Responsibilities**:_
- The Office person/Junior Inspector will perform the duties of both positions, as necessary.
- The Office Person will be working under the direction of a Contract Administrator.
- Manage day to day activities.
- Liaison with owner, project manager, contractor and field staff.
- Review Contractor's Quality Control Performance Measures.
- Compiles field test data.
- Perform work within established guidelines, procedures, and practices.
- Record, review and address contractor questions and clarifications.
- Attend site meetings and filed inspection, as required.

- **Demonstrated Office Person experience on 1 or more similar MTO projects or municipal projects or equivalent with at least 1 having a value of no less than $2,000,000.**:

- Sound knowledge of design standards, OPS Specifications, standard drawings, materials and methods associated with highway/freeway/ATM construction.
- Proven analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Maintaining detailed diaries and photographs to document daily construction activities.
- Conduct inspection as per applicable inspection requirements, MTO’s Construction Administration and Inspection Task Manual CAIS.
- Coordination of onsite sub-consultants and quality assurance material testing.
- Maintains office files related to the project, quantity calculations, and other documentation as required by the construction contract.
- Effective organizational and mature interpersonal skills.
- Ability to utilize computer software such as MS Word and Excel
- Valid Ontario Class “G” driver’s license
