The Role:

- You will support the Associate Director of Public Health in strategy development and execution including developing plans and implementing tactics
- You will develop and manage the implementation of regional and national medical and public health associations' initiatives and projects including conference and educational activities in collaboration with both field and office-based colleagues
- You will monitor vaccine market and competitive intelligence including advocacy group activities and provide insights and necessary information to help inform marketing/product strategies and maximize vaccine uptake in public programs.
- You will recommend and help implement medical and Public Health associations' conference activities including educational activities together with Medical Affairs.
- In collaboration with the Associate director Public Health, you will help develop and implement public health policy at the provincial/territorial level.
- You will develop annual strategic market access plans for to maximize product uptake and minimize programmatic issues.
- Responsible for creating opportunities for interactions/presentations to important decision makers/committees.
- Responsible for supporting the development of, and implementing, national and regional strategies and tactics to secure, maintain, and improve access and funding for our publicly reimbursed vaccines portfolio.
- You will liaise, network, and present to Provincial Public Health main advisors and decision-makers.
- You will conduct vaccination program research/implementation projects together with Public Health Associate Director.
- You will provide ongoing program support during flu season, including updates on deliveries, product issues, cold chain challenges, and issues that arise as a result of implementing the influenza program.
- You will monitor and manage aspects of regional public health policy that align with our current and latest immunization priorities.
- You will stay informed about Public Health market dynamics (including competitive intelligence) to help develop strategies & tactics for launched and pre-launch vaccines.
- Develop and maintain expertise on regional/pan Canadian public reimbursement recommendation processes related to vaccines.
- Represent Seqirus on topics of immunization policy and pipeline improvement in the spirit of collaboration, information exchange, and sharing of best practices.
- You will work with internal and external stakeholders to increase awareness and knowledge of Seqirus' vaccines
- Collaborate with appropriate Seqirus business teams, marketing, and medical affairs to ensure understanding and full use of resources including the coordination of educational activities with Medical Affairs
- Identify Regional public health KOLs and liaise with Medical Affairs, Policy and Communications to support their needs.
- Liaise with policy KOL's to support Seqirus's portfolio and liaison with projects/presentations.

Your skills and experience
- Bachelors' degree in life sciences, business, marketing, communications, or healthcare discipline with experience in public health policy
- Bilingual (English/French)
- Willingness to travel nationally observing business needs
- 5 years+ sales/marketing/health policy/medical affairs experience with 1+ years' experience in pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device industry or Public Health including public policy experience dealing with Canadian government(s) / public health departments
- Expertise in project management and relationship management including with regulated HCP
- Have experience in a regulated environment such as pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
- Exceptional project management and leadership skills in a matrix team environment
- Proven experience in customer relationship management and contact planning
- Outstanding technical, written, presentation skills, and verbal communication skills
- Broad knowledge of healthcare issues and the pharmaceutical / life science industry is a plus
- Demonstration of commercial experience beyond government affairs and market access is a plus
- Knowledge of the role and function of NACI is a plus
