**Job requirements**:

- SPRAT/ IRATA certs (any level) *required
- Experience running Pneumaticwagon/ DACHS drills **Required**:

- Experience operating Pneumatic or hydraulic Top Hammer or DTH Drill Rigs **Required**:

- Experience with drilling rock bolts an asset
- Experience Pull testing rock bolts (proof testing) an asset
- Experience running grout plants an asset
- Experience grouting rock bolts an asset
- Experience with hydraulic drill rigs is an asset
- Experience installing drape mesh or Attenuator Mesh fences an asset
- Experience Rock scaling an asset
- Experience utilizing airbags and or hydraulic rams/ jacks an asset
- First aid certification and asset an asset

**Skills & Abilities Required**:

- **C**andidates must be able to lift up to 100 pounds and work on steep slopes in a rope access harness for extended periods of time.
- Must be reliable, able to take direction from supervisors, and demonstrate safe work habits
- The ability to work on other aspects of the project when needed is also required
- Performing tasks outdoors and working in extreme environments
- Must be able to safely navigate construction sites
- Must be in good physical health - must be able to undertake the strenuous activity demanded by the work
- Must be sufficiently physically fit and free from any disability which may prevent them from working safely on a construction site at heights
- Team oriented
- Inherently safety conscious
- Possess a calm disposition even in severe circumstances
- Must not be susceptible to an unreasonable fear of heights

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Drilling with a 45 lb pneumatic hand drill, exposure to long periods of vibration
- Follow all safety rules, GRA, and Site procedures and regulations.
- Inspect and maintain equipment, use all equipment appropriately.
- Review on-site documentation.
- Attend all daily safety meetings, toolbox meeting.
- Relay all safety concerns, incidents, and accidents to Site Supervisor
- Perform all duties as designated by site super and job description.
- Fulfill duties of the rope access worker/technician/supervisor as detailed in SPRAT Safe Practices for Rope Access Work.

**Reporting Lines**:

- Employee reports to the Site Supervisor who reports to the Operations Manager.

**Salary**: $30.00-$50.00 per hour
