**What We Are Hiring**
As a Head Chef, you are responsible in supporting the F&B Director in overall restaurant operations, execution, management, and supervision of staff. You will also be responsible in managing our Kitchen's operations to ensure consistency in quality and finances. You will be reporting to the F&B Director, and you will assist with the supervision of up to 100 crew members.

**What You'll Do**
- You will help maintain the integrity of the Denny's brand by monitoring and directing the activities for your restaurant and employees to focus on the quality of the Kitchen operations and sanitation
- You will ensure the successful operations of the entire culinary operation to include Denny's, BAR ONE and Banquets
- You will bring awareness of food cost budget to your restaurant and employees' focus on the profitability of the Kitchen operations
- You will assist with ordering, scheduling, interviewing, and hiring for your restaurant
- You will assist in the organization of storage areas, order guides, Prep and Pull sheets and Temperature charts
- You will ensure that all the kitchen shifts are properly staffed
- You will help Denny's achieve our mission by adhering to Denny's Brand Standards and internal policies and procedures
- You will demonstrate a strong commitment to guest satisfaction and Denny's Core Values when interacting with others
- You will perform other duties as required or assigned
**Who You Are**
- You have received a high school diploma or equivalent and you have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Kitchen Manager or Head Chef
- You have at least 1 year of Banquet culinary management experience.
- You have the agility to interpret and analyse financial statements
- You are an effective communicator in English, both orally and in writing
- You are a team player, collaborative and attentive
- You are self-motivated, organized, and able to multitask effectively
- You must be able to legally work in Canada (as a citizen, resident or holding other current and valid work permit)
