Steam Engineering is looking for a new team member to help with production demands.

General Assembly

Hours 7:00 am - 4:00 pm

Steam Engineering specializes in the production, installation, and maintenance of Industrial Steam Generators. We work closely in a team to ensure that our products are completed on schedule to an exceptional level of quality.

**Job Description**:

- Examine work for defects, pressure test fabricated steam pipes
- Cut, drill, bevel and grind metal parts to ensure proper fit-up for welding
- General assembly of 3 Phase motors and Positive Displacement blowers, filter boxes, belt guards on fabricated frames.
- clean, prep, prime and paint manufactured products.
- Assemble and mount combustion chambers, water jackets, gas lines and water lines, electrical panels and VFDs
- Install transformers, disconnects and run electrical EMT and run cables.
- Install Insulation Board, plywood and sheet metal.

Qualifications:

- Ability to operate hand and power tools is required
- Ability to read and understand drawings.
- Strong work ethic, Reliable - regular attendance is important and expected.
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job, lift up to 50 pounds.
- Self motivated, ability to work with little supervision or direction.
- Commitment to quality and workplace safety.
- Welding experience would be a asset but not required.
- Forklift experience would be a asset but not required.

Overtime required periodically as production and delivery schedules dictate.
Wages depend on experience and knowledge.
