SEO Specialist

- The SEO Specialist will manage all SEO activities such as content strategy, link building, and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search networks. The SEO Specialist will also manage all SEM campaigns in order to maximize ROI._

Kinka Family is currently looking for an **SEO (Search Engine Optimization) Specialist** to join our team

**RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES**
- Develop optimization strategies/tactics that increase the company's search engine results rankingsResearch SEO keywords to use throughout the company's website and marketing materials
- Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization
- Set measurable goals that demonstrate improvement in marketing efforts
- Monitor daily performance metrics to understand SEO execution performance
- Execute paid search/ PPC campaigns
- Efficiently communicate with other marketing professionals to align goals
- Collaborate with others within the marketing department to manage SEO strategy
- Write compelling and high-quality website content, including blog posts and page descriptions
- Update content and website links for maximum optimization and search engine rankings
- Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing
- Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords
- Respond to Google and Yelp Reviews

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing (or related program)
- 2-3 years of experience in successfully developing and executing SEO campaigns
- Proven SEM experience managing PPC campaigns across Google, Yahoo and Bing
- Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
- Understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods
- Experience with SEO industry programs, such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics
- Experience with using Hootsuite, Facebook Manager and insight
- Demonstrated experience using Google ads
- Knowledge of keyword research and data mining tools
- Able to complete competitive analysis of other companies within the industry
- Comfortable analyzing high volumes of data on a daily basis
- Familiarity with WordPress or other content management systems
- Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM
- Experience with other aspects of marketing, such as customer growth and promotion, is a plus
- Familiarity with how to use and leverage Google performance Max should be an asset
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without **sponsorship** for employment for a work-authorized permit to be considered
