About You / What We Are Looking For
- Theatre
- Drama
- Choir

We can work with you to create classes based on your interests and availability. Shifts are varied throughout the year and programs run out of different facilities in the City, however, the primary locations will be Pinetree Community Centre.

Minimum Qualifications
- Team player with excellent communication and people skills.
- Enthusiastic, personable, energetic and outgoing, and have a passion for engaging with members of the community.
- Experience leading recreation programs in a municipal setting for children in theatre, drama and choir.
- Flexibly available to work mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends. Shifts are varied throughout the year and programs run out of different facilities in the City.

Preferred Qualifications
- Other applicable certifications such as High Five, ECE and NCCP.
- Valid BC Drivers License or equivalent is preferred.

- Valid current First Aid and CPR ‘C’ certifications from an accepted agency (see below).

We accept Emergency, Standard, or Occupational First Aid certifications with CPR C issued by the following agencies:

- St Johns Ambulance
- Canadian Red Cross
- Lifesaving Society
- Heart and Stroke Foundation
- Canadian Ski Patrol
- WorkSafeBC

What We Offer:
The City offers an hourly wage of $25.28 - $31.31 per hour + 4% in lieu of benefits. Prep-time is compensated in addition to teaching time. The rate of pay is based on a variety of factors including qualifications, knowledge, experience and skills.

You will have the chance to join a rapidly growing and diverse team dedicated to supporting the local community, and be able to engage in variety of learning and development opportunities. This position is based in Coquitlam.
