Group Corwik, a Montreal based fashion wholesale apparel company with North American and International customers is searching for a **QC Specialist.** Our QC department is rapidly growing making it a fast paced and exciting environment with tremendous growth potential. Reporting to the QC Manager, the specialist will be responsible to perform and assist in routine inspections and quality tests

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform random inspection and quality tests on products to ensure it meets all required specifications.
- Maintain records of tests and audits and ensuring that any and all defects are communicated/flagged to manager/supervisor in order to address the issue immediately and propose corrective solution.
- To aid in all aspects of QC activities related to internal or external audits.
- Ensure effective and efficient communication between the QC department and administrative staff.
- Assisting/supporting process improvements and immediately flagging any and all aspects that deter from process.
- Pro-actively assist team members, managers and employees as needed.
- Manage special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 4 years’ experience in quality control/assurance field in the garment import /apparel industry.
- Strong English written and oral communication skills.
- Be able to work autonomously and be a team player.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Highly organized and pro-active
- Excellent data collection and analysis skills.
- Basic computer knowledge of the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge of garment and fabric construction, terminology, measurements and workmanship.
- Knowledge and experience in bulk sample inspection and comment.
