Remote: Hybrid. 10% in-office and 90% remote. Offices are in Montreal, Ottawa or Toronto.

Introduction:
CTC is actively seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team for an upcoming RFP project. This role is crucial for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our software development processes and deliverables. If you have a strong background in IT quality assurance and a passion for excellence, we invite you to contribute to our goal of winning and successfully executing this bid.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement quality assurance strategies and detailed test plans to ensure the integrity of all software solutions.
- Estimate the effort required to perform various types of tests including single, integrated, system, and acceptance tests.
- Coordinate and participate in the entire testing process, ensuring compliance with agile methodologies.
- Utilize test case and anomaly management tools to document progress and track issues effectively.
- Make recommendations for improvements and contribute to the automation of test cases to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Work collaboratively with development teams to integrate quality assurance practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Use knowledge of Jira software and other automated testing tools to streamline QA processes.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma of college studies in Computer Science or a related field.
- A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in IT Quality Assurance and Control.
- In-depth knowledge of QA methodologies and best practices in an Agile environment.
- Familiarity with test case management, anomaly management tools, and automated testing tools; experience with Jira is highly advantageous.
- Proven ability to develop comprehensive test plans and manage complex testing initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a proven track record of identifying, documenting, and resolving anomalies.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills, capable of leading QA efforts and working collaboratively with diverse project teams.
