We have great communication skills and an eye for detail. We build a lasting bond with our guests, welcome them back by name and have a great "stage presence". THE DUTIES: - Create a positive experience through guest interaction and adherence to the steps of service - Maintain a full working knowledge of all menus - Setup bar for service, and tidy up at the end of the night - Prep syrups, bitters, batches as needed - Provide memorable guest experiences - Be aware of any special requests, inclusive of guest allergies THE IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS: - SmartServe Certified - Incredibly personable & able to offer honest and genuine hospitality - At least 1 year bartending experience in a similar environment - Familiarity with cocktails, wine and beer (and eager to learn more) - Passion for food, beverage and providing excellent customer service - Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time and able to lift and move heavy items such as cases of liquor **Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time Part-time hours: 15-44 per week **Salary**: $20.00-$24.00 per hour **Benefits**: - Dental care - Employee assistance program - Extended health care - Vision care Schedule: - 10 hour shift Ability to commute/relocate: - Toronto, ON M5V 1E3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required) Application question(s): - Are you able to make a negroni, margarita, and old fashioned by memory? **Experience**: - bartending: 1 year (required) Licence/Certification: - Smart Serve (required) Work Location: One location
