**ROLE**

As a Shop Labourer you will be responsible for support of the fabrication and assembly functions. The position will also be responsible for all building related and grounds keeping, including garbage removal for the building, keeping sidewalks, doorways, and driveways clear and clean especially as related to ensuring safety. Keeping the shop free of all equipment by putting in the appropriate area when received. This position will require use of a pallet jack, and other small hand tools in the shop. And other related duties as required.

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES**
- Well organized, energetic, a team player with attention to detail and safety who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
- Support of assembly and fabrication personnel as required.
- Grounds Keeping for safety & cleanliness both inside and outside.
- Work independently while following established company policy and procedures.
- Communicate and interact effectively with people from multi-functional and diverse backgrounds.
- Willing to learn metal fabrication as required to support production

**REQUIRED**
- Valid Driver’s License with Clean Abstract
- Mechanical aptitude

**EXPERIENCE**
- Preference given to those with mechanical assembly experience.
- Experience with forklift and License would be an asset.

- Ability to manage one’s time effectively while placing appropriate emphasis on ‘excellence’ and ‘speed of response’ in their work performance.
- Effective interpersonal skills and working cooperatively and effectively within and across organizational units to achieve common goals.
- Well organized with strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in your work.
- Ability to follow build and test instructions
- Highly accountable for personal behavior and work

**PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**
- Must be able to lift 25 kg

**WORKING CONDITIONS**
- Indoor manufacturing setting

**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
