**Job Overview**

The Social Media Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day execution of all social media campaigns and platforms, and for creating social media and e-newsletter content that will increase brand awareness and engagement. The role requires creating content and scheduling to sustain Kinka brands on social media platforms. Must maintain a consistent communication style and have a keen eye for noticing what is or is not consistent branding.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create engaging text, image and video content that aligns with Kinka Family brands
- Help grow and manage social media presence on all platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.
- Management of Facebook and TikTok Ads Manager and ensuring delivery of ads for each restaurant concept.
- Track monthly metrics and performance against KPIs of each social media platform. Prepare reports to provide insights.
- Assisting with review and links functionality across social media platforms for paid ads.
- Plan and develop social media and e-blast calendar to ensure relevancy and timeliness
- Ensure seamless brand messaging across all partners and efforts
- Stay updated with changes in all social media platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness
- Stay updated with the latest marketing trends, audience preferences and competitor activities
- Liaise with PR on the management of influencer visits.
- Respond and engage with customers via direct messages received on social channels
- Creates and assists in copywriting related to marketing activities within each of the restaurant’s concepts including menu changes, marketing campaigns and promotions.
- Other tasks/projects as assigned from time to time
- Attendance on weekends for social coverage on select restaurant grand openings may be required

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a direct social media role
- Skilled and passionate copywriter / content creator
- Independent worker that is self-motivated
- Experience with social media channels, social management platforms, social advertising and analytics with a keen understanding of today’s consumer
- Genuine interest in food and the restaurant industry
- Experience with Microsoft Office required
- Excellent communication skills

**Work Environment**

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
