Opening their newest location in Kitchener, Cannaverse is seeking a licensed retail manager to oversee operations of the store.

**Job description**

We are seeking a full time dedicated, hard working, results oriented, experienced retail manager for permanent employment at our newest location in Ancaster.
- Assist in hiring energetic, efficient team members who will be directly supervised by you
- Provide initial and ongoing training to ensure all staff are complying with all regulations and proficient in the most recent Cannabis information including new products and legislation
- Maintain written store operating procedures and enforce adherence to same
- Create and implement staff schedules ensuring sufficient coverage of personnel to ensure optimal customer experience within budget
- Manage payroll for all staff
- Accurately compile and maintain all physical and digital records including sales, inventory, employee records, video surveillance, store policies and all other records required for the successful operation of the business
- Facilitate all reporting requirements of the AGCO including cooperating with audits, maintaining destruction logs, verifying employee CannSell certification and any other applicable AGCO mandate
- Competent management of the Cannabis POS system providing daily, weekly and monthly reports to assess the viability of the company
- Identify areas of strength and improvement through report analysis and implement corporate adjustments where necessary to maximize revenue
- Cooperation with all government auditors and law enforcement agencies to ensure ongoing and continual compliance with all rules, regulations and applicable laws pertaining to the sale of recreational cannabis
- Monitor inventory and make contemporaneous adjustments as necessary to ensure a continual supply of sufficient stock while minimizing stock of unpopular perishable items to reduce waste.
- Assist in the creation of advertising campaigns to increase store traffic, brand exposure and revenue
- Address and resolve all customer concerns professionally to maintain customer relations and ensure satisfaction
- Monitor customer behaviour to ensure a zero tolerance policy for serving impaired or underage persons
- Any other duties normally required by a manager

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 3 years management experience
- Proficiency in computers including Microsoft Office
- Previous retail Cannabis experience
- Possess a Cannabis Retail Manager Licence from the AGCO
- CannSell Cannabis Retail Certification
- Demonstrative knowledge of Cannabis, Cannabis legislation and AGCO standards and regulations
- Must have valid police record check within past 6 months
- Exceptional leadership and management skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Ability to be flexible with work schedule

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
