**Your challenge**:
Reporting to the Finance Director, the **Accounting Technician** will support the company’s growing needs with respect to the accounting cycle. Specifically, the incumbent will be responsible for all data entry tasks and paperwork for accounts receivable, accounts payable, and month-end activities.

Your responsibilities:

- Verify and match suppliers’ invoices against purchase orders.
- Ensure the entry of invoices to the correct project as well as administrative invoices
- Process invoices with PO’s.
- Follow up on any PO discrepancies with invoices internally as required.
- Reconcile visa statements.
- Process employee expense accounts.
- Processing of supplier invoices.
- Process sales invoices and submit for approval.
- Generate and send out invoices.
- Analysis of aging reports, follow up on overdue accounts and resolution of payment discrepancies.
- Support month and year-end reconciliations and preparation of audit file.
- Maintain general ledgers and financial statements.
- Post journal entries.
- Reconcile accounts.
- Support the finance team on ad-hoc projects as required.

- 3+ years experience in a similar role
- Strong analytical, organizational and attention to detail skills
- Excellent knowledge of basic accounting concepts
- Knowledge of SAGE
- Bilingual (English and French)
- Proficiency in MS Office
