**Scope of Position**:

- Salaried, Full-Time (40 hrs/ week), Hybrid

- Reporting to the VP, Customer Success, the **Global Project Manager**plays a**pivotal role in steering both the technical and strategic aspects of project management within the company. The job incumbent’s duties include coordinating efforts from team members in different time zones and countries, allocating resources, facilitating communication between stakeholders and team members, publishing regular updates, and using modern technology to keep the team connected ensuring a seamless flow of information.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in business management, international relations, or a field relevant to the engineering industry
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) certification is an asset
- 5+ years experience managing diverse global teams and working with foreign associates
- Solid technical background in both software and hardware
- Experience using Jira and Confluence tools
- Excellent interpersonal skills for diverse interactions
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent customer-facing skills
- English proficiency
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
- Understanding of fundamental project management methodologies, tools, and techniques and the ability to tailor them to the company’s needs
- Comfortable with modern project management tools, and willingness to follow best practices

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Build systems, processes, teams and manage the overall progress and direction of projects
- Gather support information and instructions from senior management team and keep projects aligned with strategic goals
- Oversee risk management and mitigation strategies by using proactive identification, structured mitigation and continuous monitoring
- Responsible for resolving project impediments related to processes and resource constraints
- Regularly meet with customers to discuss project progress, clarify needs and objectives, align customer expectations with project deliverables
- Manage the scope of projects to contain scope creep as well as identifying, analyzing and mitigating project risks that hinder meeting critical deadlines
- Manage timelines and communication between three major stakeholders: internal reporting to the executive team, the client, and the cross-functional teams
- Supervise team collaboration to ensure project completion across national and international boundaries and multiple time-zones
- Conduct thorough reviews and analyses to ensure clear understanding and direction
- Refine the utilisation of Project Management instruments to ensure transparent tracking of dependencies and milestones
- Use methodologies like Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid models for project tracking with tools including Jira and Confluence
- Collaborate with in-house teams and external entities to introduce new operational processes that enhance project success and customer satisfaction
