**Thriftys Family of Brands **is currently looking for a **Photography Studio Assistant **for our **Head Office** location.

**What you need to be a successful Photography Studio Assistant with Thriftys**:

- **Detail orientated with various photographic techniques**: Efficiently retouch and label photos to the correct format for online with a special attention to detail.
- **Fashion savvy/expert**: Ensuring that all products are styled and presented on the website in an effective, fashionable manner that is on brand and comparable to our benchmarks.
- **Takes Initiative**: Can spot and audit missing photos on the website, participates in Product Knowledge meetings, and keeps up to date with fashion trends including creative online product photography.
- **Administratively organized**: Creates purchase orders and gathers, organizes, and maintains sample products from the warehouse and buyers, coordinates model bookings, etc.
- **Team player**:coordinates and plans photoshoots, prepping clothing and coordinating with stylist.

**Other qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education in Photography
- 2-year minimum experience of web-based imaging and photography
- Proficiency with Photoshop and Capture One
- Ability to act as liaison between many departments.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated and willing to adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Creative, energetic and upbeat, able to inspire and get the most from our models.

**Qualifications**
- Associates degree or 2 years of related experience in a related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Ability to multitask and work independently under pressure
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with deadlines
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
- Must be able to work in the North York, ON metro area.

**Duties include but are not limited to**:

- Assist Studio Manager with studio operations.
- Assist Studio Manager with day-to-day studio operations.
- Assist Studio Manager with scheduling artists for shoots.
- Maintain inventory of studio equipment and supplies.
- Maintain studio cleanliness and orderliness at all times.
- Work cooperatively with other departments of the company.
