As Hidden Acres’ full time Manager you will be responsible for the over all operations, the safety and well being of the dogs in care and management and development of the team.
**This role rewards someone who**:

- Is not afraid of hard work to ensure the dogs are receiving the best in care,
- Is highly motivated to grow as a dog handler and is open to coaching,
- Is looking for a long-term opportunity, not just a short stay,
- Can manage the business
**What does the Day to Day look like?**
Greeting clients and overseeing the receiving of daycare and boarding dogs
- Working with the teams to ensure dogs are appropriately grouped for safety, play etc
- Coaching trainers and handlers to build on their skills with the dogs
- Managing the daily operations of each area and the responsible trainer
- Monitoring any behavioural issues with the dogs and provide supportive training
- Liaising with the groomer to ensure the flow with day to grooming and return
- Ensuring a smooth departure process for daycare dogs at the end of the day
- Confirming the cleanliness of the facility and the boarding areas and kennels
- Prepping the night shift team for the boarding dogs
- Monitoring the health of all boarding dogs (meals, meds, health, safety)
- Review all accounting for daycare and boarding transactions
- Manage any marketing activity for the facility
**Absolutes**:
- Successful track record in dog training and or dog handling
- Exceptional acumen with dogs
- Superb people skills with 2- legged (dog parents and team members)
- Good physical stamina and ability - this is WORK and it is outside
- Strong organizational skills
- Can handle pressure and a fast faced work environment
- Ability to create a strong team through coaching and feedback
- High standards for cleanliness and orderliness
**Desirables**:
- Has successfully managed or supervised a dog daycare or boarding facility
- Looks for opportunities to improve efficiency in the operation
- Has past supervisory or management experience in another field
- Loves a fast paced environment
- Strong attention to detail

Pay: $16.75-$46.14 per hour
Expected hours: 35 - 45 per week
**Experience**:
- Dog Handling: 1 year (required)
- Dog Day Care: 1 year (preferred)
