International Admissions Advisor

CIMT College is looking for an International Admissions Advisor. Experience in the Private Career College or Education sector will be considered an asset
**Job Summary**
**International Admissions Advisors** are responsible for recruiting and enrolling the prospective international students who are looking to study in Canada, for various Vocational programs and Non-Vocational courses and converting leads received by CIMT College. The Admissions Advisor is responsible for guiding students on career goals and for providing exceptional customer service by defining, delivering and evaluating highly effective recruitment and sales strategy to meet or exceed ambiguous targets to increase student numbers significantly.

Admissions Advisors must meet weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance targets as set by the Admissions Manager.
**Education**
- Post High School Diploma or Higher is must
**Responsibilities**
- Work independently to meet sales and enrolment targets and as part of a college admissions team
- Meet or exceed annual, monthly, and quarterly starts, referrals, targets and objectives, as per tenure expectations.
- Responsible for developing, delivering and evaluating the recruitment and sales strategy to meet ambitious targets within the agreed budget and time-frames.
- Develop and implement an effective, targeted schedule of recruitment and sales activity to raise awareness and interest in undergraduate study, and increase student numbers.

Working with prospective students, applicants and their families to provide high-quality advising on university/school admission requirements, academic programs, and school life.
- Maintain a conversion rate on all types of inquiries from lead to an interview, interview to enrollment and enrollment to start.
- Accountable for business growth through following up on leads and delivering information to prospective students in a timely manner.
- Providing clear and accurate information about CIMT College and its programs, policies, admission requirements.
Listening, recognizing and considering the needs of prospective students in order to provide them with educational solutions.
Providing exceptional information service and advising relating to the Programs.
- Effectively managing data, following policy with regard to data collection and follow upon lead management system.
- Comfortable on Phone / WhatsApp / Google Meet / Zoom
**Job Requirements**
- 2+ years’ work experience in a college or university as an Admissions Advisor. Alternatively 3+ years of proven sales experience working with lead conversion and student recruitments
- Strong communication skills - written and verbal
- Knowledge about sales process in private colleges and institutes
- Experience working in a International Admissions is preferred
- Proven track record in sales, meeting targets, and demonstrating relationship building through follow up and networking
- Knowledge about Second Career Application, WSIB, Insurance, and Third Party Funders, Canada Ontario Job Grant experience preferred
- Taking initiatives and pay close attention to detail.
- Ability to use a positive and determined approach to researching new student recruitment opportunities
- Strong profile management and negotiating skills
- Experience recruiting international students is preferred
- Working knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, Gmail and Google Account
- Working knowledge on CRM

**Admissions Advisors need to be**:

- Flexible and available according to the campus schedule, including evenings and weekend shifts
- Adhere to all CIMT College Policies and Procedures Comply with all regulatory standards as set out by the Ministry of Training for Colleges and Universities, and the PCC Act, 2005
