**WHAT YOU’LL DO**:

- Provide life skills support to adults with physical disabilities to achieve their goals
- Provide personal support services _(i.e., activities of daily living, lifts/transfers, bowel/bladder routines, dressing/undressing, skin care, respiration, meals/drinks, general hygiene)_ to clients in their homes
- Be part of the UNIFOR union

**WHAT YOU’LL BRING**:

- A passion for providing exceptional personal support services to male clients
- Ability to lift and transfer clients
- Manages time in co-operation with clients to complete tasks
- Ability to accept direction from client's regarding services
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution and judgment skills
- Ability to work independently as well as cooperatively with others
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 computer skills (Outlook, Word)

**Qualifications**:
**EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE**
- Post secondary degree/diploma in Developmental Service Worker (DSW)
- PSW certificate from an accredited Ministry of Health School will be an asset Or
- Post secondary degree/diploma in human services and/or other healthcare related field of study
- Plus two (2) years’ experience teaching daily living skills to adults with physical disabilities and augmentative communication requirements
- PSW certificate from an accredited Ministry of Health School will be an asset
- Proof of First Aid and CPR certificate
- Ability to pass a Criminal Record Check (Vulnerable Person)

**WHAT HOURS YOU’LL WORK** totaling 40 hours per week**:

- Monday: 3:30 pm -11:30 pm
- Tuesday: 3:30 pm -11:30 pm
- Wednesday: 3:30 pm -11:30 pm
- Thursday: 3:30 pm -11:30 pm
- Friday: 3:30 pm -11:30 pm
- Saturday: OFF
- Sunday: OFF
