**Position**: Developmental Service Worker

**Location**: Toronto, ON

**Pay Rate**: $24/hourly

**Shift Timing**: Morning

**Job Summary**:
We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Developmental Service Workers to join our team in Toronto. The Developmental Service Worker will be responsible for providing support and care to individual with developmental challenges, helping them achieve their full potential and improve their quality of life.

**Responsibilities**:

- Support individuals with daily activities, including meal preparation, housekeeping, and transportation
- Monitor and document progress towards goals and communicate any concerns to the appropriate parties
- Provide emotional and social support and encourage their participation in community activities
- Develop and implement individualized support plans based on the needs and goals of each individual
- Work collaboratively with other members of the support team, including families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals

**Requirements**:

- First Aid and CPR certification is a must
- Vulnerability Sector Check is a must
- Crisis Prevention and Intervention Training
- Completion of a recognized Health Science program or equivalent work experience
- 1+ year experience working with individuals with developmental challenges

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 24 per week

**Salary**: $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 - 32 per week

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Autism Patients: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) (required)
- CPR Certification (required)
