**This position is located at a residential strata property in Burnaby near Lougheed Sky Train Station.**

**Schedule**: Tuesday to Saturday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

**Responsibilities**
- Clean and vacuum hallways, lobbies, elevators, windows, and other common areas.
- Conduct daily inspections of all common spaces and take necessary action.
- Maintain logs of resident complaints, bylaw violations, and security concerns.
- Monitor security cameras periodically.
- Act as the on-site point of contact for emergencies.
- Schedule move-ins and move-outs.
- Ensure storage rooms, mechanical rooms, stairwells, bicycle rooms, parkade areas, and other shared spaces are free of clutter or inappropriate items.
- Document issues accurately and maintain records.
- Provide polite, respectful, and professional customer service to residents and owners.
- This position requires a high level of professionalism, discretion, and respect for resident privacy. Employees must not disclose any personal, building-related, or security information obtained through their work.
- The caretaker reports to the Strata Council and the Strata Manager.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum two years of experience in caretaking, custodial work, or cleaning.
- Experience in strata, condominium, or residential buildings is an asset.
- Strong spoken and written English communication skills.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Comfortable using basic computer programs and handling simple administrative tasks.
- WHMIS certification is an asset, or willingness to obtain it.
- Applicants must have valid, ongoing authorization to work in Canada (no temporary or expiring work permits).
- Applicants must be willing to undergo a criminal background check as a condition of employment.
- Reliable transportation, that allows you to reach the building on short notice. A personal vehicle is not required other options are permitted.

**Physical Requirements**
- Ability to walk, climb stairs, and clean throughout interior and exterior areas.
- Ability to pull and move garbage and recycling bins.
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions (rain, heat, cold, wind, etc.).

**Compensation & Benefits**

Full-time employees are eligible for:

- Employer-paid health and dental benefits
- Reimbursement for continuing education for work related courses.
- Compensation range $48, 000-$52, 000.00 with annual reviews

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $48,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
