**About the Role**
We are seeking a reliable and professional **Building Maintenance Manager** to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and safety of a residential building. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and committed to providing excellent service to residents.

**Schedule**
- Regular hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
- After-hours emergency response (additional pay)

**Key Responsibilities**
- Serve as the primary on-site maintenance contact for residents, contractors, and staff
- Conduct regular inspections of common areas, amenities, grounds, and mechanical systems
- Maintain logs, reports, and records of inspections, repairs, and contractor activity
- Perform minor repairs, adjustments, and preventative maintenance (power washing)
- Oversee and coordinate contractors and service providers to ensure quality work
- Monitor and support building systems, including pool/hot tub chemicals, fire safety systems, elevators, and HVAC equipment
- Ensure cleanliness and safety in all building areas, including lobbies, stairwells, parking, and waste/recycling rooms
- Assist residents with maintenance-related inquiries and enforce strata bylaws as needed
- Lead on-site response during emergencies and liaise with emergency services

**What We’re Looking For**
- Previous experience in building maintenance, facility management, or a similar role
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform hands-on repairs and inspections
- Professional, courteous, and dependable work ethic
- Comfortable coordinating contractors and managing multiple priorities
- Knowledge of strata bylaws, safety procedures, and building systems an asset

**Compensation**
- $22-$25 per hour, based on experience
- Opportunity for additional pay for after-hours emergency response

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
