With 60% of the Canadian population experiencing a type of hearing health issue in 2021, our teams are passionate about providing an exceptional client experience through their hearing journey, going above and beyond to provide relevant and meaningful solutions._ We are growing and searching for a** Sales & Reception Coordinator** (called "Client Care Coordinator" internally) to join our Client Care team In this role, you will be in a patient-facing administrative role and will be responsible for administrative duties within the clinic, ensuring a positive patient experience, and driving sales of our products and services. This is a **permanent, full-time position** based onsite at our **Ajax, Ontario** HearCANADA Clinic. Typical hours of work are **Monday through Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm**. **What we offer**: - Starting hourly compensation of $21-$24/hour + an attractive bonus program - Benefits - including health, dental, vision + a healthcare spending account, starting on day one of hire - RRSP matching program - Generous time off policies including 3 weeks of vacation, 7 paid personal days, + 1 paid volunteer day - Training + education opportunities - Friends and family discounts + our employee perk program **What you'll do**: - Lead patient engagement activities and ensure a positive patient experience by acting as the first point of contact for patients visiting or contacting the clinic - Manage the clinic schedule by booking and rescheduling appointments; follow-up on missed appointments or with appointment reminders - Making product and payment recommendations to enhance the patient journey - Support with maintaining physical and electronic records - Perform basic hearing aid maintenance and product questions - Participate in local events and marketing initiatives to support HearCANADA branding and networking within the local community - Educate patients on billing and payment options; perform AR duties as assigned **What we're looking for**: - 2+ years of experience in a customer-facing role - you have worked in sales, retail, a busy office, or a clinic environment and are comfortable interacting with customers - Sales acumen - experience recommending products or in retail is strongly preferred - Access to a vehicle and a valid driver's license - some local travel (mileage compensated) will be required - Customer-centric attitude - you are comfortable interacting with diverse patient groups and networking within the community to position HearCANADA as Ajax's number one choice for hearing care services - Team-player - you work well with others and appreciate what can be accomplished with support from colleagues - Willingness to participate i some local travel - access to a car and a valid driver's license is strongly preferred as some travel will be expected within the assigned region (mileage paid) for community events and marketing initiatives
