This position offers an opportunity to work in a professional salon setting where your interpersonal skills and attention to detail will contribute to an exceptional client experience.

Responsibilities

  • Greet clients warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures
  • Manage appointment scheduling via POS system and coordinate with nail technicians
  • Handle phone inquiries with professional phone etiquette, providing information about services and promotions
  • Close the salon's books at the end of each day, ensuring all transactions are balanced and recorded accurately.
  • Upsell salon services and retail products to enhance client satisfaction and sales goals
  • Process transactions accurately using cash handling, cashiering, and retail math skills
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area, including merchandising and stocking retail products
  • Conduct product demos when appropriate to promote new or featured items
  • Supervise the front desk operations, ensuring efficient flow of clients and staff coordination
  • Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed
  • Handle all towel care, including washing, drying, organizing and ensuring clean towels are always available for staff and clients
  • Handle basic social media duties, such as posting content and responding to messages.

Experience

  • Prior experience in retail sales, customer service, or hospitality preferred
  • Familiarity with POS systems, cashiering, and retail math techniques
  • Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and interpersonal interactions
  • Experience in upselling products or services to increase revenue streams
