**Job Opportunity**:
We are looking for a Shipper and Receiver to control the shipping and receiving of all products to and from IAI, and to control the handling, inspection, and storage of all products received within IAI.

**_ What you’ll do:_**
- Kitting Duties
- Controls the accuracy of supplier due dates, contact suppliers when needed
- Ensures all received purchased and machined components are checked in on the Bill of Materials in the corresponding project binder
- Ensures all checked in material is put into correct labeled assembly boxes on project cart
- Deliver oversized items to designated project build space on shop floor once above procedures are complete
- Shipping Job Duties
- Controls the shipment of all outgoing products
- Verifies all outgoing shipments have a Requisition Form filled out by the person who would like items shipped. Measures and weighs outgoing shipments and completes Requisition Form. Creates a packing slip
- Uses information from the Requisition Form to complete all needed shipping documents and arranges for the appropriate method of transportation
- Responsible for safe handling of all outgoing shipments
- Ensures hazardous goods are shipped with WHMIS data
- Receiving Job Duties
- Controls the receipt of all incoming products through receiving doors
- Inspects all incoming products for visual damage
- Verifies all incoming products to accompanying packing slip bearing:

- Subcontractor name
- PO # as applicable
- Project # as applicable
- Quantity of product shipped
- Product description
- Verifies the packing slip matched the purchase order and scans/attaches PDF copy to P.O.
- Records the product in receiving software
- Stores the product in the appropriate location
- Responsible for the safe handling of all incoming products
- Ensures hazardous goods have WHMIS Data Sheets
- Maintains customer-supplied product log, and items such as samples or non-chargeable items in Pro Purchase Receiving. Affixes yellow sticker with project # and date to all customer-supplied products for identification purposes and red sticker if the product is incorrect
- _Maintenance Job Duties (Assist when required)_
- Collects all waste, organic waste and recyclables from shop, and all organic waste and recyclables from office
- Maintenance of shop by sweeping, cleaning, inspections, ect.

**_What you’ll need: _**
- Minimum Gr. 12 or Equivalent
- Minimum 2 Years’ Experience in a shipping/receiving role
- MS Office Software (Word, Excel)
- Computer skills
- Ability to lift weights reaching 50lbs, carry weights reaching 40lbs, and push and pull weights reaching 100-150lbs
