Description Neos Products, Div. Richelieu Hardware Canada Ltd. is looking for Warehouse Shipper Receiver for their Barrie, Ontario location.Essential Duties / ResponsibilitiesPrepare customer orders for pick up and shipment of goodsAssist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and receiving/checking-in merchandise Obtains copy of production schedule or shipping order and transports material or equipment to and from designated areas in the facilityPrepares orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; strapping lifts and pallets; placing orders in delivery areaSort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facilityStacking goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructionsPerform daily equipment checks such as re-fueling the lifts' propane, charging battery and lubricating equipmentMaintain inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing request, recording amounts of materials or items received or distributed through a computer. May also assist in counting of physical inventoryPrepare parcels for mailingMaintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and work stations neat; Sweep, dust and mop. Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all timesUnloading and Loading trucks using equipment provided in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security and productivity.Daily Equipment InspectionsMaintain a clean, neat and orderly work area, assist in maintaining the cleanliness and security of the warehouse and equipmentConduct operations in a manner that promotes health and safetyThis job description reflects the current assignment of essential functions and is not meant to be all-inclusiveWear the proper personal protective equipmentOther duties as assigned by managementQualifications.High School Diploma1-2 yrs previous warehouse experience preferredGood communication, organizational, time management mathematical skillsDependable and ReliableInventory, Equipment maintenance, data entry and computer skills may be requiredHigh degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environmentExecute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe mannerMaintain a clean & safe environmentClean driving record and a valid motor vehicle operator's license may be requiredForklift certification per OHSA standardsWho are we?Richelieu Hardware is a North American leader and an agent for change in a dynamic and creative industry.
