**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the welding team to ensure efficient operations.
- Train and mentor welders on best practices, safety procedures, and equipment usage.
- Oversee the setup and operation of welding equipment, including cranes and press brake machines.
- Ensure that all welding work meets quality standards and specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections of work areas and equipment to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to plan and execute projects effectively.
- Manage inventory of welding supplies and materials, ensuring timely replenishment.
- Troubleshoot any issues related to welding processes or machinery.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a CWB Certified Welding Supervisor or in a similar role within a manufacturing setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with proficiency in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick).
- Familiarity with power tools, rigging, machining, and assembly processes.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to welding tasks.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in a welding environment.
