**Overall Responsibility for all Die Setting and Changeovers**:

- Efficient Die Setup and Teardown
- Champions press set-up and process improvements in material flow and productivity
- Ensuring proper staging of dies, coils and other resources to maintain production targets
- Fully understanding of Die Set-Ups, operational flow and production requirements
- Ensuring that dies and coils are properly stored and maintained after use, coordinating with Die Repair Supervisor
- Coordinating with Die Setters, Material Handlers and Supervisors to ensure next job dies are staged. This includes jobs for both the day and afternoon shift
- Ensuring integrity of changeover results on a daily basis in machine metrics database, investigating opportunities for improvement
- Responsible for returning tools and equipment to designated storage area
- Adheres to all Health & Safety Rules and Regulations
- Adheres to all Plant Rules and other safe requests from supervisory personnel

**Press Shop Technical Oversight and Troubleshooting Support**:

- Responsible for supporting maintenance in ensuring equipment and machines are functional and ready to operate
- Supporting the maintenance team in troubleshooting press mechanical issues where appropriate
- Performing daily Pre-Start-Up Inspection on Equipment as required
- Ensuring that Internal Work Orders via maintainX tool are created to address and trouble shoot issues
- Assists in root-cause analysis and corrective actions where appropriate

**Support the Supervisor Administration and Coordination**:

- Lead daily huddles with die setting team
- Participating in employee performance assessments and disciplinary actions for Die Setting team
- Responsible for training and mentoring new employees for press set-up and stamping
- Reviews and approves Die Setting employee time sheets and assists in reviewing resource requirements
- Back-up support the overall responsibility for the day-to-day operation of Press Shop
- Back-up support for Supervisor leading daily huddles with Press Operators
- Back-up support for Supervisor attending and participate in daily schedule review meeting
- Back-up support for Supervisor for Attending APQP meetings and launch meetings
- Back-up support for assigning responsibilities and duties to personnel in the Press Shop
- Supporting Supervisor in ensuring that parts are properly identified with tags and quality inspection checks are documented
- Other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager
