Sales Manager

QTK is looking for an exceptional Sales Manager to lead the sales team. This position requires a high energy, organized and composed individual that is capable of working in a fast-paced environment. This position will be challenging and rewarding as you strive to grow sales and profitability of the organization.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Execute short and long-term business strategy to increase sales and introduce the company into new geographic markets
- Cultivate relationships with key decision makers to grow market share and retain and develop existing client base
- Manage & Mentor QTK designers
- Review plans/options with QTK designers and provide pricing for custom and complex options
- Ensure all sales staff adheres to company policies and procedures.
- Weekly sales meetings and training sessions.
- Meet with clients as needed to discuss layout, design ideas, and space planning
- Create detailed drawings and elevations /Auto-CAD
- Provide quotes in a timely manner
- Manage client expectations for delivery & installation
- Help facilitate countertop drawings, template, and installation
- Act as a liaison between clients and engineering department to ensure appliance specifications and cut out dimensions and provided in a timely manner
- Be aware of key competitors in the industry and their position in the market
- Ability to successfully work to reach company goals in an environment in which a wide degree of creativity and latitude is required.
- Train existing and new sales staff in sales and communication techniques
- Manage and train sales staff in reporting requirements and proper documentation of sales contracts, supporting documentation and customer communications
- Prepare timely and accurate sales reports and develop sales forecasts
- Provide reports and sales data to the VP of Sales
- Work closely with the engineering department manager to ensure projects are produced in the correct time frame and that all information is complete and offers solutions for any measuring variance between initial design and on-site conditions
- Ensure QTK designers have the correct tools and skills to provide a positive customer experience
- Approve sales orders and reviewing aging AP statements and working with accounting on collections
- Confirming and approving sales commissions for QTK designers
- Carry out annual performance reviews for all direct reporting staff members
- Other duties as may be assigned by the VP of Sales
- **Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, architecture or interior design preferred
- 7+ years’ experience in kitchen, millwork or wood working related sales
- Demonstrated experience with highly detailed projects
- Demonstrated experience working with professional series appliances
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Proven track record of selling into the woodworking industry
- Demonstrated successful ability to build positive partnerships and work collaboratively with department, cross-functional business teams, and customers.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Auto-CAD
- Must have knowledge of cabinetry composition methods and understand how complex cabinetry projects get manufactured and installed
- Must have general knowledge in residential construction especially cabinets
**Travel & Hours:Reporting**:
- Monday to Friday (excluding statutory holidays) 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
- This is an exempt position that may require some Saturday work hours and overtime during the work week.
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and ability to travel daily within assigned territory
- Reports to VP of Sales
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $50,000.00-$139,267.18 per year
