**Grant Researcher and Writer**

Latincouver Cultural & Business Society - Vancouver, BC

(Temporary / Part-time / paid position)

Latincouver is a non-profit organization that, for the past 12 years, has been connecting over 100,000 Latin Americans with Latin enthusiasts living in Western Canada. As of today, we are the point of reference within the Latin American community in British Columbia.

Working Hours**:20 hours per week**

Wages**:$19 per hour**

Working period**:3 months (possibility to extend)**

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Researching government, foundation, and corporate grants and other grant-making organizations
- Maintaining reports on a calendar of submissions and other deadlines
- Writing grant proposals on behalf of Latincouver
- Application of 2 grants per month
- Monthly report and describe hours and grants worked
- Establishing and maintaining working relationships with grant funders

**Requirements and Skills**
- Exceptional English communication and editing skills
- Being detail-oriented and excellent organizational management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, pay attention to detail and maintain accurate records
- Experience in working for fundraisings and non-profits

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: $19.00 per hour

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Grant writing: 1 year (preferred)
- Fundraising: 1 year (preferred)
- Writing skills: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- Fluent English (preferred)
