**Position Details**
- Administer professional services agreements;
- Develop project budgets;
- Develop contracting strategies;
- Determine user requirements and;
- Ensure the accurate reflection of those requirements in construction documents.

Other duties include:

- Preparation of tender documents;
- Preparation of contracts;
- Contract administration;
- Developing cost estimates;
- Performing on site construction observations;
- Managing the implementation of approved projects within a project management system.

The University of Lethbridge is undertaking a job classification and compensation review for Administrative Professional Officer (APO) positions. As such, the salary range currently assigned for this position may be adjusted as a result of this project.

**Position Qualifications**
- A University Degree & a minimum of 3 years of experience (all of which should relate to the construction project management or construction experience);
- Or a College Diploma and a minimum of 5 years of experience (all of which should relate to the construction project management or construction experience);
- Project Management qualifications;
- Professional designations relevant to the construction industry;
- Experience in developing cost estimates for building systems in an institutional or commercial environment would be considered an asset;
- Excellent communication and organizational skills;
- Ability to exercise independent judgment;
- Managing projects on time and on budget.

Equivalent combinations of education and construction experience will be considered.

**Starting Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE)**
- $73,110.48 - $91,972.76 annually

**Full Salary Range (at 1.0 FTE)**
- $73,110.48 - $110,835.04 annually (APO - Grade 4)
