**Annual Salary: $106,370.55 - $132,980.25**
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Care, with a matrix reporting to the Administrator, the Clinical Support Manager is responsible for direct supervision of assigned clinical teams. Key responsibilities include providing clinical leadership, staff development, and supervision; ensuring quality improvement and evaluation, managing the work environment; and facilitating interprofessional collaboration within the teams and acting as a role model, mentor, and coach to all team members.
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
**_Education/Experience:_**
- Current unrestricted certificate of registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Minimum one year experience working as a Registered Nurse in the long-term care sector
- Minimum three years' experience working as a Registered Nurse in a managerial or supervisory capacity in the health care sector
- Demonstration knowledge of and ability to interpret applicable legislation and related regulations, codes, and standards; specifically, the Fixing Long-Term Care Act, 2021, and the Occupational Health and Safety Act

- Superior ability to communicate effectively and concisely, both orally and in writing
- Superior ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, public officials, residents, and families
- Ability to identify, understand, and meet/exceed the requirements of internal and external customer
- Ability to think and act strategically in a health care sector environment
- Strong leadership skills, including the ability to direct, motivate, evaluate, ad recognize staff; proven ability to share skill and knowledge with others
- Excellent project/time management, analytical/critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Proven conflict management abilities and mediation skills
- Proficiency with office computer equipment and relevant software
- Competent within the meaning of the Occupational Health & Safety Act
**_Assets:_**
- Certificate in long-term care administration
- Master's degree in a health or management-related field and/or certification in Gerontological Nursing would be an asset
- Membership in a professional association (i.e. RNAO or RPNAO) is an asset
**CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT**
This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
