- **This position is in Kananaskis and is required to be on-site**

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Under supervision, monitoring Kananaskis park pass compliance with Automated License Plate Reader (ALPR) equipment
- Operate within the enforcement guidelines
- Visit various locations throughout Kananaskis Country as directed by the team leader
- Professional interaction with the public
- Uploads / Notes / Review
- Attend Court when necessary and ensure evidence and Court procedures are conducted to a professional standard.
- Other duties as required

**Qualifications**:

- **Must have 3+ years experience as a Level 1 Community Peace Officer or Police Officer experience**:

- Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in law enforcement
- Must meet all the requirements of the Alberta Solicitor General Department to obtain a Peace Officer Appointment
- EVOC (Emergency Vehicle Operations Course) or equivalent
- Standard First Aid/CPR
- Experience working with various Alberta Provincial Statutes, Municipal Bylaws, Traffic Safety Act, and other job-specific training and experience
- You must have the ability to work independently and conduct yourself in a mature and professional manner
- Must have the ability to work well with others, coordinate schedules, and communicate
- Valid class 5 Alberta Driver’s License
- Must have a clean drivers abstract
- Attention to detail and taking notes
- Dealing with difficult people
- Technology savvy
- Displays a positive, cheerful, and helpful attitude
