**Calibration & Repair Technician**:
As a Calibration and Repair Technician you will be working to calibrate and repair electrical, pressure, temperature and mechanical test equipment.
**Responsibilities and Duties**

**Responsibilities**:

- Calibration and troubleshooting of instrumentation equipment (pressure, temperature, electrical, torque and some high voltage)
- Create and verify calibration data sheets for technical content and accuracy based upon instruments specifications and approved calibration procedures
- Complete work in a timely manner to ensure customer delivery expectations are met or exceeded
- Provide accurate and timely results
- Directly responsible for their area housekeeping and cleanliness on a daily basis
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and on multiple projects
- Working under pressure and meeting deadlines

**Typical instruments to be serviced and calibrated**:

- Fluke meters, Megger insulation testers, AEMC ductors, Crystal pressure gauges, BW gas detectors, Proto torque wrench, Omicron relay testers, Vanguard CT testers, HV Inc hi-pots, and more

**Working Conditions**:
Technician will be based at our flagship calibration lab in **Edmonton**.

**Qualifications**:

- A practical knowledge of electronics, mathematics and test equipment are considered minimum requirements.
- Organized, independent, self-motivated, forward thinker with the ability to solve problems
- Must be proficient in using various types of computer software
- Must be organized, able to work under deadline driven stress and manage competing priorities
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience would be an asset
- Be able to work in a lab environment
- Good at multi-tasking and the drive to learn more
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Having experience in instrumentation or electronics
