**Full-time position | Opportunity for Growth | Friendly Team**

Reporting directly to the Controller, you will help to keep the Administrative & Accounting department organized and on top of our game by assisting with day-to-day accounting and administrative tasks and collaborating as needed with our amazing production and research & development teams.

**Responsibilities**:

- Processing all accounts payable/receivable invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
- Day to day accounting of accounts payables and accounts receivables.
- Prepare monthly bank and visa statement reconciliations, and input journal entries, as necessary.
- Responsible for bank deposits (one per month).
- Assist with monthly and quarterly closings.
- Act as point of contact for vendors/customers.
- Inventory management/counts.
- Support and participate in collaboration activities to promote and implement continuous process improvement.
- Maintaining and updating HR systems, records, and correspondence on related current HR activities and helping develop new systems.
- Assisting with new employees on boarding activities such as health benefits forms, access card etc.
- Performing a variety of administrative tasks to support overall objectives of the company.
- Other responsibilities if needed to assist the Financial Controller.

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:

- Post-Secondary Education in Accounting is required.
- Three years of relevant work experience in Accounting or Finance would be preferred.
- Strong ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, presentation and written communication skills
- Basic use of Excel is required.
- Experience using QuickBooks or accounting system would be an asset.

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$46,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Accounting: 1 year (required)
- Bookkeeping: 1 year (preferred)
