We are hiring for a Full-Time Bakery Supervisor position with a wage range of $19.00-$24.00 at our location in Edmonton, AB. (Glenora Location)
**Job Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Lead daily bakery operations:

- Measure, mix, scale, and hand-mould various types of artisanal breads
- Operate bakery equipment (i.e. commercial mixers, rack ovens, proofer, bread slicer)
- Hand-mould bread, baguettes, boule, etc.
- Bake and score traditional bread and bakery products
- Assist Bakery Manager with inventory, labour scheduling, ordering, expense control, and other operational processes to company standards
- Assist Bakery Manager with Team Member training and coaching to achieve operational standards
- Ensure quality, service, cleanliness, and merchandising standards are adhered to by the Bakery Team
- Properly store food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
- Handle customer service inquiries and resolve any complaints or concerns in the absence of the Bakery Manager

**What you Bring**:

- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in a bakery or food preparation setting
- Extensive knowledge of the principles of sourdough preparation, various baking methods, and food safety regulations
- Experience with pre-ferments: levain, poolish, sponge
- Comfortable working early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- A passion for leading others while providing an exceptional customer experience
- Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50lbs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
