Asset Protection Manager

We’re looking for an Asset Protection Manager to join our Healthy Planet family We provide our employees with a rewarding yet challenging environment where you can grow professionally. The Retail Asset Prevention Specialist will be responsible for implementing and monitoring loss prevention procedures to safeguard company assets, prevent and minimize theft, fraud, inventory shrinkage, and other incidents.

**_ Job Duties_**
- Identify, recommend, and implement fraud detection programs and safeguards to minimize loss of merchandise, money, or company assets
- Deter, detect and apprehend for theft and fraud across all Healthy Planet locations
- Audit and investigate sources of known losses
- Manage and maintains video archives to be used as evidence wherever required
- Detect and identify potential shrink opportunities within our operational core compliance and monitor inventory to identify theft or shortages
- Investigate suspicious customer and/or employee activity
- Conduct periodic inspection/audit of stores and facilities to ensure surveillance and security equipment is functioning properly
- Prepare reports on effectiveness of established prevention measures
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to prevent theft at point of sale or inventory storage areas
- Train other staff members on theft detection and prevention strategies
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**_ Required Skills/Abilities:_**
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Extensive experience of retail operations and loss prevention strategies and procedures
- Working knowledge of laws related to theft prevention
- Familiarity with video surveillance systems and electronic loss prevention tools
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software to prepare reports and documentation
- Ability to stay calm in stressful situations
