Asset Protection Investigator

Wolfpack Protective Services Inc. currently requires an Asset Protection Investigator in the North Bay area. We are looking for someone who has the experience, knowledge and drive to advance within our operation.

**Requirements**:

- Ontario Security Guard License.
- Valid First Aid, CPR and AED certificate.
- Ability to work various shifts, including weekends.
- Have previous experience working in a tactical guard/Asset Protection environment.
- Ability to recognize high risk persons (training provided).
- Understanding of the Criminal Code of Canada.
- Understanding of the Trespass to Property Act
- Have the ability to use your words to de-escalate situations, and recognize when safety is at risk requiring disengagement and Police involvement.
- Strong focus on customer service, both with the client and their staff, along with their customers.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Observe and analyze patrons entering/shopping within the client site to focus your time and attention on those who pose a higher risk to the safety and security of the site. (Training provided/required)
- Offer outstanding customer service while on site, ensuring customers and staff feel safe and welcomed while on site.
- Work with and communicate regularly with site management/supervisors to ensure the highest level of protection at all times.
- Interact with a diverse group of patrons, some of which may have Cognitive Impairments causing unusual interactions/behaviours.
- Follow site protocol when dealing with aggressive patrons, utilizing your training to ensure a safe and satisfactory resolution whenever possible.
- Regular note taking and report writing.

Part-time hours: 30 per week

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Security Guard: 1 year (preferred)
- Asset protection: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Ontario Security Guard License (required)
- Use of Force Training Certificate (preferred)
