Job Summary:
Located in Queensborough we are dedicated to the pet community of New Westminster. We emphasize compassionate patient care, client education and practice fear free handling. We are a small dedicated team looking to add to our quickly growing practice. We have one full time vet, along with a couple of locum vets on a semi-regular basis and hope to open more availability with the addition of more staff.

We strive to practice gold standard medicine, keeping up with the most up to date practices and work closely with the mobile board certified specialists and emergency hospitals. We also provide digital radiography and dentistry, in house lab work, and laser therapy.

**Duties**:

- Greet clients and their pets with a welcoming and friendly demeanor
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the clinic's calendar
- Check-in patients, obtain and update medical records, and verify insurance information
- Assist veterinarians and technicians with patient intake and discharge processes
- Process payments, handle billing inquiries, and maintain accurate financial records
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and waiting room

**Skills**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients, staff, and vendors
- Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting
- Proficiency in basic computer skills for data entry, appointment scheduling, and electronic medical records
- Compassion and empathy towards animals and their owners to create a positive experience for all visitors
- Experience or familiarity with laboratory procedures is a plus
