**What we are looking for**:
**Lead Coordinator & Event Expert**

As a Lead Event Coordinator & Event Expert, you will provide integral support in planning logistics and details of our client’s events and providing full on-site coordination on event days. You will be responsible for managing a team of 2-3 members on event days, along with overseeing vendor commitments. An average day can range anywhere from 8 to 16 hours long (often ending late in the evening). This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on wedding experience and be part of an exceptional team.

As a key member of the team there are always last-minute schedule changes to manage, along with packing and unloading supplies, maintaining continued communication with team members, vendors and clients.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Conducting initial consultations with clients to discuss the wedding packages available and the couples wedding vision
- Consulting with clients to discuss booked wedding details
- Creating a detail itinerary using the Dash Events & Co itinerary template for all booked events
- Review and execute the duties for the day of the event
- Work collaboratively with the team on event days to coordinate logistics
- Manage and direct a team of 3-4 assistant coordinators on the day-of
- Manage and enforce a to-the-minute wedding day schedule, liaising with the bridal party, family, guests and vendors
- Communicate directly with all vendors to review itineraries and ensure client’s vision si executed
- Assist with set-up and teardown of event decor
- Problem solve and take care of unexpected hiccups and delays

**Requirements**:

- Sound knowledge of different religions and religious practices.

- Experience in South Asian cultures is considered an asset
- Fluent in one South Asian language is considered an asset (ex. Punjabi, Hindi, Tamil etc.)

- **Must** have a minimum of 1-year related field experience in event planning, event management or hospitality
