Our client, a leading organization in the material handling industry, is seeking a Collections Coordinator to join their team. As a Collections Coordinator, you will be part of the finance department supporting the accounts receivable team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, persistence, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Collections Coordinator Location: Brampton, ON Pay Range: $48,000 – $53,000 per year (based on experience) Shift: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Mon-Fri) What's the Job? Monitor customer accounts by tracking aging reports and identifying overdue balances. Initiate collection calls, emails, and written correspondence to resolve outstanding invoices. Negotiate payment arrangements with clients to establish feasible repayment schedules. Maintain accurate records of all collection activities and update customer account information. Collaborate with internal teams such as sales and service to resolve disputes or billing issues. What's Needed? Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. At least 2 years of experience in accounts receivable, credit, or collections. Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with accounting software and MS Excel.
