**Job description**:Graphics and Marketing Director / Checkwitch Poiron Architects
- Excellent design ability
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
- Some experience with marketing and/or social media
- Self-motivated with an interest in design or architecture
- Fluency in English with excellent oral and written skills
- Strategic thinking with hands-on execution ability
- Creative, adaptable, and proactive communication

**Activities may include**:

- Development of marketing and media strategy
- Direct website, social media, and digital marketing strategies.
- Preparation of marketing materials
- Graphic design
- Website design and updates
- Preparing social media updates
- Formatting and assisting in the preparation of presentation drawings and documents
- Assisting in the design and preparation of proposals
- Multimedia graphics
- Coordinating project photography
- Preparation of award submissions
- Preparation of press kits
- Coordination with journalists and publications

**Knowledge of the following is an asset**:

- Photoshop
- Illustrator
- InDesign
- AfterEffects
- Figma
- Hootsuite or
- Smartsheet

Our projects range between a wide variety of building types including, cultural, institutional, residential, civic and commercial projects located on Vancouver Island, the mainland and coastal islands of British Columbia. **Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $24.00-$29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
