**Position**: Commissioning Co-op Student

**Location**: Edmonton, AB

**Description**:
Reporting to Supervisor, Commissioning, this co-op position is responsible to support Commissioning and Construction execution teams with computer-related initiatives such as auditing various databases to drive performance metrics, and utilizing a new tool and equipment database and creation of new processes to manage materials, tools, and equipment more efficiently.

**Responsibilities**:
Support Commissioning Project Leads with data entry and asset database auditing of MAXIMO and Omicron PTM databases and various SharePoint libraries
Assist with the creation and optimization of project and data related systems, including Power BI dashboards, Microsoft TEAMS, Power Apps, SharePoint, etc.
Drive continuous improvement and efficiencies in project execution by utilizing Tool Hound database and Oracle software to improve inventory supply counts and management of tools and equipment.
Support the review, update, and creation of Commissioning training manuals and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standard.
Support with project preparation and closeout including setting up electronic test forms and templates.
Assist with initiatives and other miscellaneous duties as required.

**Qualifications**:
Currently enrolled in an engineering or computer science post-secondary work experience program
Interpreting information and performing data analytics
Database administration, integration, and electronic records and storage
Strong verbal communicator with the ability to analyze and communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences, including the delivery of formal and informal presentations to all levels of management
Strong written communicator capable of developing professional written documents, ranging from technical to general
Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage time and multiple tasks.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to problem solve on their own.
Demonstrate service excellence, embracing diversity and promoting inclusiveness
Proficient with the Microsoft Suite of products
