Through our work we strive to help students create an university experience that helps them thrive. **Responsibilities**: The Note Taking program is a confidential service that is provided for hearing impaired students through Academic Support & Engagment, Accessible Education. This position entails attending the assigned student(s) classes, labs, tutorials, etc. to take comprehensive, concise, well organized, legible notes on a laptop (handwritten for some Science and Math courses) and provide them to the student within 24 hours. **Requirements**: - Experience in taking computerized and handwritten classroom notes within a University environment - Availability and flexibility to complete note taking on Mondays - Excellent written and verbal communication and listening skills - Punctual, reliable, outgoing, with an understanding of the significance of the position Application Documentation: - Resume & Cover Letter - Samples of both computerized and handwritten, university level notes - Schedule of Weekly Availability - Schedule of Courses (if applicable) **Why Western?**: **Background Checks**: While transcripts are not required for the interview, they are mandatory prior to any offer of employment.
