Assistant Mental Health Manager

We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Assistant Mental Health Manager to join our team.
**Responsibilities**:
**1. Clinical Oversight**:
- Provide leadership and supervision to a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
- Develop and implement mental health protocols in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Conduct regular audits and evaluations to identify areas for improvement.
- Maintain accuracy and confidentiality of client records.
**2. Budgeting and Resource Management**:
- Develop and monitor departmental budgets.
- Identify opportunities for program expansion and sustainability.
- Procure necessary supplies and equipment.
**3. Professional Development**:
- Stay updated on the latest developments in healthcare management and Indigenous health.
- Advocate for policy changes that better serve the needs of the indigenous community.
**4. Program Evaluation**:
- Evaluate program effectiveness using metrics and data.
- Develop indicators and data collection methods to track progress.
- Collaborative Partnerships:
- Partner with external organizations and government agencies.
- Establish partnerships to enhance program effectiveness.
**Position Requirements**:
- Degree in a related field - Nursing, Health Services, Social Work or equivalent qualifications.
- 2 years' experience in program development, implementation, and evaluation, with a focus on culturally sensitive healthcare delivery.
- Experience working as part of a remote team and managing staff working remotely.
- Experience with budget and expense development and control with basic accounting concepts.
- Clear Background and Vulnerable Sector Check and proof of immunizations (or valid medical exemption)
- Proficient in the use of MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to travel to communities via small aircraft and/or vehicle.
- Driver’s license G with clear driving abstract and reliable vehicle
- A good understanding of the culture and the language is a definite asset.
- Familiarity with the independent First Nations Alliance First Nations is also an asset.
- Ability to work in a variety of settings such as clinical facilities, community centers or remote locations.
- Note: Flexibility is key at IFNA. You may occasionally cover tasks outside your role, ensuring comprehensive support for our organization's mission._

**Salary Range**: $95,000 - $109,980
**Schedule**: Regular hours from Monday to Friday with additional work after hours or on weekends.
**Deadline**: Position will be open until filled.
Pay: $95,000.00-$109,980.00 per year
