PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The incumbent is responsible for supporting the activities of the procurement department. He/she must ensure that the stores, the distribution center and the head office receive an outstanding supply service, while respecting the required deadlines.
- Provide effective communication to promote information sharing at all levels and contribute to the achievement of company goals by working closely with all departments;
- Conduct product and/or supplier research;
- Perform analysis, participate in budget management and maintain up to date lists;
- Coordinate, in conjunction with his/her supervisor, the management of the janitorial contract;
- Participate in the development and improvement of cafeteria offerings and services;
- Coordinate various internal requirements for head office events;
- Participate in the sustainable development and residual materials component, and its use in all areas of the company. Keep abreast of new trends in the field;
- Respond to and follow-up on calls and inquiries from stores, head office and distribution center;
- Maintain an up-to-date store database in the Y2 system and procedures manual;
- Analyze the relevance of current procedures and implement new procedures to continually improve the department's service to stores, head office and distribution center;
- Provide excellent customer service at all times;
- Perform all other related tasks as required.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Relevant post-secondary degree;
- One to three years of relevant experience;
- Strong customer service skills;
- Bilingual (written and spoken) is essential;
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Excel and Word);
- Attention to detail and good organizational skills;
- Autonomy, initiative and good business sense
- Strong negotiation and analytical skills;
- Ability to manage multiple files simultaneous.
