As a** People & Culture Coordinator,**you will play a key role in supporting HR operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and a positive employee experience that strengthens organizational culture and drives business success.

**Role**
As a key member of the People & Culture team, you will provide essential administrative support by maintaining employee records, updating HR databases, and ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws. You will also be responsible for providing clear guidance and prompt support to users navigating our HR systems, including troubleshooting issues, tracking support tickets, and adhering to departmental response time standards.
You’ll play an important role in People & Culture operations by assisting with the functionality and maintenance of key systems, while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver timely and professional service. Effective communication and strong relationship management are central to this role, as you work cross-functionally to support various departmental priorities and initiatives.
In addition, you will help foster a welcoming and inclusive workplace culture, aligned with MOVATI’s values. The role also includes other duties as required, offering a dynamic opportunity to contribute to multiple facets of the People & Culture function.
**Qualifications**
We know the experience we’re looking for can come from a wide range of industries so we’re looking for the following:
- A University degree or college diploma in a related field strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general management of HRIS platforms (working knowledge of
UKG is an asset).
- Ability to act with tact, diplomacy, and professionalism.
- Strong organization, time management and problem-solving skills are required.
- Initiative-taking problem solver with strong judgement and decision-making skills.
- Strong communicator and relationship builder with the ability to collaborate effectively with
employees, managers, and external partners to support HR initiatives and foster a positive workplace
culture.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results through motivation, inspiration, and accountability.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid arrangement, with the ability to commute to our Club Support Office in Etobicoke.
