We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable **Distribution Support Manager** to join our St Jacobs Distribution team. Reporting to the Director of Distribution, you will be responsible for the effective management and leadership of the St Jacobs Inbound and Outbound teams, Custodial, Returns and DMS Support teams, as well as all offsite distribution and storage locations and their respective teams. In this role, you will hold accountability for the safety, service and cost associated with these businesses.

**What you’ll do**:

- Assist the Distribution Manager and Director in the effective management of all aspects of the Distribution Centre, including both the operational and human aspects of the production. Ensuring the prompt, efficient and secure movement of material in a timely manner and for managing the facility in their absence.
- Support and promote open communications throughout the Distribution Centre and with other departments, by liaising regularly with Shift Managers, Supervisors and Team Members. Conduct meetings and presentations as required.
- Leadership and ownership of various St Jacobs and EPP transformational projects within the Distribution network.
- Maintain knowledge and awareness of relevant legislation and corporate policies to ensure compliance and due diligence with respect to Team Members and Facilities.
- Champion a safe work environment through visible safety leadership programs, training, and enforcement of Home Hardware policies.
- Collaborate with HR and National Distribution Transformation Manager to design and implement leadership development programs, tailored to the Distribution department’s needs.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to Distribution leaders at all levels, helping them enhance their skills and capabilities.
- Support the creation of budget and monitor budgets with a focus on expense control and performance improvement. Provide weekly corporate updates on Distribution operations.

**What we’re looking for**:

- Minimum of 5-10 years of relevant Supply Chain experience, coupled with 1-2 years in a leadership role.
- Post-secondary training related to Warehouse Management is considered an asset.
- Exceptional ability to engage and motivate Team Members while building a positive work culture.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of the organization.
