A true community partner, we could not be here without our over 150,000 members across Niagara, allowing us to focus on earning your continued trust, every day THIS POSITION IS A FULL-TIME TEMPORARY CONTRACT TO COVER A 1-YEAR MATERNITY LEAVE OF ABSENCE. **TRAVEL INSURANCE REPRESENTATIVE OVERVIEW**: We are looking for a Full-time Contact Travel Insurance Representative to offer financial security to travelers concerning their flights, vacations, hotels, cruises, car rentals, or complete vacation packages. The position entails thoroughly explaining travel medical insurance premiums, coverage, and claims details to Members and non-members. Do you thrive on helping others, possess a positive "can-do" attitude, and excel in high-energy environments? **REQUIREMENTS**: **Experience**: 2+ years of customer service experience, inside sales experience, considered an asset **Skills**: Demonstrated enthusiasm for delivering outstanding customer service, keen attention to detail, administration, and a tech-savvy mindset. Comfortable excelling in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment. **Characteristics**: Self-driven attitude and a commitment to ongoing learning. Customer service approach that focuses on prioritizing and valuing members. **RESPONSIBILITIES**: - Promptly and professionally respond to incoming sales inquiries, attentively addressing client needs and leveraging product expertise to select suitable policies. - Follow up with customers via calls for new or renewed policies, ensuring all necessary information is available for informed decisions. - Proactively reach out to annual travel medical clients before renewal periods, emphasizing policy retention. - Conduct careful medical screenings of clients for travel insurance quotes, utilizing relevant systems and adhering to regulatory requirements.
